| Monee Reservoir's 46-acre lake provides a beautiful site for the family to enjoy a half-hour, an hour, or a full day relaxing in a boat. With a $20.00 deposit, valid driver's license or state ID, and a minimum age of 18, you can rent a rowboat (four persons maximum per boat) for an hour, half-day (up to 5 hours), or full day. Fishing is permitted from a rowboat. Boats are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and are available April 1 - October 31. Trolling motors are allowed on rental boats. |

Pedal boats, seating up to four, are another way to tour the lake and its surroundings. Pedal boats rent by the half hour. With a rental, life vests, oars, and paddles are included.
