Boating

Monee Reservoir's 46-acre lake provides a beautiful site for the family to enjoy a half-hour, an hour, or a full day relaxing in a boat.

With a $20.00 deposit, valid driver's license or state ID, and a minimum age of 18, you can rent a rowboat (four persons maximum per boat) for an hour, half-day (up to 5 hours), or full day. Fishing is permitted from a rowboat. Boats are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and are available April 1 - October 31. Trolling motors are allowed on rental boats.

Pedal boats, seating up to four, are another way to tour the lake and its surroundings. Pedal boats rent by the half hour. With a rental, life vests, oars, and paddles are included. With a rental, life vests, oars, and paddles, are included.

Row boat fees: $25/day; $20/half day (maximum 5 hours); $5/hour
Pedal boat fees: $5/half hour
