| Canoe launch sites are available at Hammel Woods (Shorewood) for access to the DuPage River and Isle a la Cache Museum (Romeoville) and McKinley Woods (Channahon) for access to the Des Plaines River.
Additionally, canoeists can rent canoes at Monee Reservoir for use in the 46-acre fishing lake. Canoe rental requires a $20 deposit, valid driver's license or state ID, and a minimum age of 18. Canoe rental fees: : $25/day; $20/half day (maximum 5 hours); $5/hour |
