In addition to acres of outdoor recreational opportunities, the Forest Preserve has many visitor facilities for you to discover. The District Office provides informational services, such as brochures and permits for the public. The office also offers informational programs to community groups in Will County. Plum Creek Nature Center Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve - 27064 Dutton Road - Beecher, IL 60401 - 708.946.2216 10:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday, through Saturday / 12:00pm - 4:00pm, Sunday Plum Creek Nature Center features hands-on displays that help you explore your natural world. Highlights include exhibits featuring Nature in Your Backyard and Birds, Bats, and Butterfiles. The Nature Center provides educational programming for school groups, youth groups, and the community.
