Plum Creek Nature Center
Plum Creek Nature Center presents nature programs to school groups and youth groups. The center is located in Goodenow Grove Forest Preserve, 1.25 miles east of the junction of Routes 1 and 394, on Goodenow Road, south of Crete.

Monee Reservoir presents outdoor educational and recreational programs to youth groups. The Reservoir is located on Ridgeland Avenue, west of Route 50 and south of Pauling Road, 2.0 miles south of Monee.

Sugar Creek Administration Center
The District's Public Information Office offers programs, preserve tours, and special exhibits to community groups. The Sugar Creek Office is located at the Sugar Creek Administration Center at 17540 W. Laraway Road, Joliet IL 60433 about .75 miles west of Route 52.
