| Turtle Lake Access, located in Lake Renwick Preserve, offers free, shoreline fishing onTurtle and Budde Lakes. In addition to fishing, visitors to the preserve can use the 2.9 mile paved Lake Renwick Bikeway or enjoy day-use picnic areas. Seasonal and site restrictions are required to protect the breeding and foraging habitat for the birds at Lake Renwick Heron Rookery Nature Preserve. Fishing is allowed at Turtle Lake only from fishing walls August 16 - February. The lake is closed to fishing March 1 - August 15. Fishing is allowed around the entire shoreline of Budde Lake year round. |
 Lake Renwick Preserve - Turtle Lake is located on Lockport Street, east of Route 59, in Plainfield. Hours: Summer 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. or Winter 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
